Nostalgia Colours unveils Utsav’25–26, an exhibition celebrating the poetic vision of India’s modern masters. Inspired by the kinship between painting and poetry, the showcase brings together works by K. G. Subramanyan, Paritosh Sen, Suhas Roy, Sunil Das, Rabin Mondal, A. Ramachandran, Suman Roy, Arpana Caur, Ramananda Bandopadhyay, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Ganesh Haloi, Jogen Chowdhury, Thota Vaikuntam, Paresh Maity, and Ramesh Gorjala.
This edition presents two complementary narratives:
• Paintings that embody each artist’s refined, contemplative vision.
• Drawings and sketches that reveal the immediacy of their creative impulse.
Together, they chart the journey from inspiration to completion—line to language, sketch to final form.
The exhibition opened in the presence of Sri Anjani Kumar Singh, IAS, Director General, Bihar Museum, and Arpana Caur.
