London’s Cookie Legacy

Ben’s Cookies Opens Its First India Store in New Delhi

The iconic British bakery brand makes its India debut at Meherchand Market, bringing its signature chunky cookies and café experience to the capital.

One of Britain’s most loved cookie brands has officially arrived in India. Ben’s Cookies, renowned for its freshly baked, chunky cookies, has opened its first Indian store at Meherchand Market, Lodhi Road, marking the brand’s entry into the country through an exclusive partnership with DS Group.

Founded in 1983 in Oxford’s historic Covered Market, Ben’s Cookies has earned a loyal following across the world for its handcrafted cookies made with premium ingredients and generous chocolate chunks. Its arrival in New Delhi marks a significant milestone in the brand’s international expansion while introducing Indian consumers to its signature bakery experience.

Located in one of the capital’s most vibrant lifestyle precincts, the new boutique bakery reflects the brand’s globally recognised store design. Warm wooden interiors, signature red accents, arched architectural details, curated gifting displays and cosy café-style seating create an inviting space for customers to enjoy freshly baked cookies or take home beautifully packaged gift boxes.

Commenting on the launch, Sanskriti Gupta of Ben’s Cookies India said the opening represents an important milestone for both the brand and DS Group. She added that Meherchand Market’s vibrant mix of culture, design and premium retail made it the ideal destination to introduce the iconic British bakery to Indian consumers.

The store debuts with a thoughtfully curated menu featuring 13 signature cookie flavours, including Milk Chocolate Chunk, Dark Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate Chunk, Double Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia & White Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate, Praline & Milk Chocolate, Orange & Milk Chocolate, Ginger & Dark Chocolate, Coconut, Caramelized Crunch and Triple Chocolate Chunk. Egg-free options are also available, including the popular Egg-free Dark Chocolate Cookie.

Beyond its signature cookies, the menu includes cookie shakes, freshly brewed coffees and indulgent cookie ice cream sandwiches, offering visitors a complete café-style experience.

Designed as both an everyday indulgence and a gifting destination, the store will offer curated gift boxes and hampers for festive celebrations, special occasions and corporate gifting. Individual cookies are priced from ₹325 onwards, with gifting options available across multiple price points.

Looking ahead, DS Group plans to expand Ben’s Cookies across India with six to eight new stores during the current financial year. Customers will also be able to order through Zomato and Swiggy, making the brand’s signature cookies accessible beyond its flagship New Delhi location.

With its combination of British heritage, handcrafted baking and contemporary café culture, Ben’s Cookies brings a globally recognised name to India’s growing premium dessert landscape—offering cookie lovers a new destination for indulgence in the heart of the capital.
