Gauri Khan Wears ZOYA’s Her Again High Jewellery to Manish Malhotra’s Diwali Party

Gauri Khan arrived at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali celebration in high jewellery from ZOYA’s Her Again collection, and the choice said as much about colour as it did about carats. Crimson rubellites sat against peach morganites in a palette that felt closer to a spice market than a jewellery vault, which is precisely where the collection takes its cue. It was a look that treated fine jewellery as part of the festive ritual rather than an accessory to it.

The collection: Indian spices, cast in gemstones

Her Again is built around the colours of the Indian kitchen and the memories attached to them. The yellow of turmeric, the deep red of mace and the pale green of cardamom are translated into rubellite, morganite, tourmaline and other natural gemstones, each chosen for its depth of colour rather than its size alone. ZOYA frames the collection as a return to oneself, an idea that moves through familiar hues, inherited rituals and the small moments people carry with them. The craftsmanship is detailed without being heavy, and the stones are left to do most of the talking.

The look: Crimson Joys with Manish Malhotra couture

For the evening, Gauri Khan wore the Crimson Joys necklace and matching earrings, layering in the Unbound bangle and the Afterglow ring from the same collection. The warm reds and peaches picked up the thread work on her custom hand-embroidered Manish Malhotra saree, so that the jewellery and the couture read as one considered whole rather than two separate statements. Among a room full of festive dressing, it was a quietly confident pairing of Indian heritage and contemporary high jewellery.
