REHAU has unveiled House of REHAU in Gurugram, its first experiential brand destination in India, introducing a new way for the design community to engage with materials. Conceived not as a showroom but as a lived environment, the space invites exploration—allowing surfaces, systems, and finishes to be experienced as they would be in real interiors.
Located in Sector 11, Gurugram, the centre reflects a thoughtful balance between engineering precision and contemporary design sensibility. Architects, interior designers, developers, and partners are encouraged to move through the space intuitively, discovering interior surfaces, decorative solutions, and furniture components through integrated applications that prioritise use over display.
The launch was marked by the presence of Dr. Thomas Troeger, CEO of Interior Solutions, and Tushar Verma, Executive Vice President for India and the Subcontinent. Their conversations centred on relevance rather than scale, highlighting how materials today are expected to perform seamlessly—visually, responsibly, and intuitively—within evolving interior environments.
For Dr. Troeger, House of REHAU represents a shift in intent. It is less about showcasing breadth and more about enabling dialogue. India, he noted, is no longer seen solely as a growth market, but as a country influencing global thinking through its manufacturing strength and design maturity.
With over seven decades of global expertise, the brand is recognised for high-performance polymer solutions that replace traditional materials while offering enhanced durability, precision, and flexibility. Its interior portfolio—ranging from decorative surfaces and laminates to flooring and furniture components—is developed as cohesive systems, a philosophy reflected throughout the space where materials are contextualised rather than staged.

According to Tushar Verma, the centre signals the next chapter of the company’s journey in India. Decorative surfaces, once considered purely functional, now play a defining role in how spaces express lifestyle and identity. The centre allows these materials to be understood as long-term design decisions, where innovation, performance, and visual restraint work in quiet alignment.
Looking ahead, plans are in place to expand across India with more than fifty retail touchpoints over the next three years. This includes large-format experience centres in metropolitan markets alongside compact studios in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, supported by a ₹50 crore investment focused on infrastructure, brand depth, and sustained engagement.
India is also emerging as a critical manufacturing and capability hub within the global network. Recent and upcoming initiatives include the acquisition of REDSTAR Polymers, development in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, a proposed third manufacturing facility, and a 100,000-square-foot warehouse in Gujarat—aligned with long-term commitments to Make in India and regional markets across South-East Asia and the Middle East.
Sustainability remains embedded across operations, with a focus on material responsibility, renewable energy adoption, water recycling, and circular manufacturing practices. An upcoming sustainability report will further articulate this approach, reinforcing a commitment to long-term impact over short-term claims.
House of REHAU is ultimately envisioned as a working space for the design ecosystem—a place to think, test, and collaborate. It reflects a belief that the future of interiors will be shaped not by excess, but by clarity, intelligence, and material honesty.
