The quality and extraordinary appeal of the Festival da Jazz is directly linked to the selected venues and stages in and around St. Moritz. The Festival da Jazz St. Moritz will enchant Engadine’s beautiful summer in 2019. The Jazz festival’s main competency lies in presenting world-class artists in an intimate setting.
Our Main Stage, the slightly quirky Dracula Club, is characterized by an almost incredible closeness to the musicians on stage. And this year too, there are numerous highlights: Nigel Kennedy, Marla Glen, Chick Corea, Mike Stern, Gilberto Gil, Helge Schneider and many more are coming to the Upper Engadine between July 4 and August 4.
Furthermore, we are looking forward to many free concerts on our other stages like the Sunny Bar (Late Night Concerts) and Hauser’s Terrace (Apéro and Sunday Brunch Concerts) where the stars of tomorrow can show off their skills.
This year, the festival is presenting some outstanding music in beautiful locations. Concerts at the forest stage in Taiswald, Pontresina and free Open Air stage at Lake Staz («Lez da Jazz» with Ladysmith Black Mombazo) promise exquisite entertainment and excellent music in unique natural surroundings.
