Manish Malhotra Curates ‘Namo Bharat: Seva. Sahas. Sanskriti’ – A Celebration of Heritage and Resilience

Renowned designer Manish Malhotra curated the remarkable fashion show ‘Namo Bharat: Seva. Sahas. Sanskriti,’ a tribute to India’s rich textile heritage and the courageous journeys of survivors. Held during the Seva Pakhwada 2024 in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the event embodied unity, strength, and the beauty of Indian craftsmanship.

The ‘Namo Bharat: Walk for Courage, Service, and Heritage’ event, organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation, saw Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Sonali Bendre, and Hina Khan take to the runway. The show paid homage to the resilient spirit of Mumbai, reflecting the enduring strength of India’s handloom heritage.

Showstoppers Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri dazzled in the EVARA handloom couture collection, showcasing the intricate artistry that defines India’s textile traditions. The fashion show served as a powerful tribute to the nation’s legacy, blending tradition with the resilience and hope that inspire the spirit of Mumbai.

As part of the Seva Pakhwada, observed from September 17 (PM Modi’s birthday) to October 2 (Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary), this event highlighted the courage and service that are at the heart of India’s cultural heritage.
