Detailing&Technique

Very natural, organic patterns imaginatively scaled, distorted and styled to present a line of garments that brought forth a sense of immense glamour.Swapna worked on a micro level of design that evoked a sense of delicate yet strong balance in her creativity.

“The collection was inspired by nature’s abstract forms and feelings it evokes in you. After the pandemic, having this physical show experience was really fulfilling”

“Not so Serious” by Pallavi Mohan

Titled “Life is Beautiful”,beautiful slinky gowns in hues of  steel grey, which moved from powder blue, blush, sage green and then finally onto navy blue and the classic ivory.Strappy floor-kissing evening wear looked tantalising with sheer robes that were sprinkled with feathers. Glittering mini capes edged once again with feathers was a stylish addition to the evening creations.  Extremely plunging Necklines Gowns had a hint of Grecian flavor

 Detailing&Technique

Collection rich in textures highlighted with embellishments in intricate patterns. There were a variety of fluid metallic Satins, tulle, and jacquards along with laser cut metallic faux leather. Hemlines stayed at floor level but were at times asymmetrical or moved up to expose shapely legs. Detailing played a vital role for the ensemble as prints and jewel tones were enhanced with laser cut appliqués.

Showstopper

Diana Penty, in a glittering, slinky, ivory, backless gown with strategic cut-outs at the waist.

“Life is Beautiful” is a collection close to my heart. I have discovered and realised in the past two years through covid that life is precious, and it was ‘things’ we gave importance to rather than people, life, friends, animals, nature, relationships. Through this collection I wanted to celebrate life with people who care, respect and love. Life is beautiful and this shall continue to be”
