FEM-MAE is presented by Norwood a house of electrical, home automation and modular. Auditions are being conducted throughout India. It is conceptualized by Ms Sonali Jain, Mr Kashish Jain & Mr Bunty Mukesh Mutha. The pleasure of having Mr Karun Raman being our official show Director of the event.

We vouch for the Grand Finale on 16^th of February. The show would be judged by the Celebrities, Top Models and HNI’s. DEEPIKA PADUKONE AND ISHA AMBANI INAUGURATED

The star-studded evening was graced by the biggest names from the Indian and International Film Industry

 Renowned for being India’s leading festival for filmmakers and cinephiles alike, the Jio MAMI 21^st Mumbai Film Festival with Star held its opening ceremony at one of Mumbai’s oldest and largest indoor theatres, the Bal Gandharva Rangmandir.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the 21^st edition of one of the most beloved cinematic events in the city, the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star. Deepika Padukone took the stage for the very first time to deliver the keynote address as Festival Chairperson. Board of Trustees, MAMI, and Director, Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail Isha Ambani welcomed the audience while also announcing new initiatives.

The glitzy affair hosted by the elegant and lucid actor and author Soha Ali Khan saw celebrated names from the Indian film industry including Kiran Rao, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rohan Sippy, Karan Johar, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anupama Chopra, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, Kalki Koechlin, Nivin Pauly, Kabir Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Tillotama Shome, Genelia Deshmukh, Vinay Pathak, Vijay Verma, Geetu Mohandas and Nivin Pauly in attendance amongst others.

The evening also witnessed a strong presence by the international filmmaking industry with personalities such as Hany Abu-Assad, Franklin Leonard, Ari Aster, Efe Cakerel, Julie Huntsinger, Mark Adams, Col Needham, Christian Jeune and Grainne Humphreys gracing the ceremony, kickstarting the annual movie feast.

With the industry in attendance, the academy celebrated talent who continue to define and shape the filmmaking community today. A talent par excellence, Indian actress, director, painter and photographer Deepti Naval was presented the Excellence in Cinema Award by Director Vishal Bhardwaj and Festival Chairperson Deepika Padukone for her exemplary contribution to the Indian film industry.

In her welcome address Isha Ambani, Board of Trustees, MAMI, and Director, Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail said, “This is the fifth year of Jio’s association with MAMI. It has been fulfilling to nurture and grow a platform that has turned into a global event. Just like the festival, our ambition and vision for it broaden every year. Our commitment is resolute to building this platform and consistently pushing cinema as an agent of change, conversation, and creative expression.”

Deepika Padukone, who took the stage for the first time as Festival Chairperson in her keynote address said, “Many of you are probably wondering why I am here, and that the role of a chairperson is for someone older, wiser. But I am here for two reasons, learn and give back to a community that has given me so much, my identity to begin with. And so, in my new role as chairperson, I am committed to helpinging the academy achieve its vision and for every mistake, I make along the way, consider that my learning. Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star binds us without boundaries, inhibitions, and most importantly without fear. As an artist, who truly believes in the power of cinema I say we need this now more than ever before.”  

The festival now opens at different venues across the city. Apart from screening exceptional films, the festival has exciting masterclasses and sessions in store. With over 190 films from 54 countries across 49 languages including features, documentaries and short films will be screened this year.

Pet Fed, India’s Biggest Pet Festival & Limca World Record Holder of ‘Biggest Dog Carnival’, is back with its annual editions in Bengaluru, Delhi & Mumbai happening in November, December & January respectively at much bigger, better & greener venues. With pets giving us their whole lives and expecting nothing in return, the agenda is to give all pet lovers a chance to dedicate a fun weekend to these pets. Pet Fed is a one-of-a-kind festival where people can pamper their four-legged fur buddies and reciprocate their love towards them.

A GERMAN LOVE STORY IN FRANKFURT

The world-famous Städel Museum presents an art exhibition that focuses on the Legend Vincent van Gogh and his significant contribution to German Art. A German Love Story, the exhibition focuses on creations from the early 1900.  It unites more than 120 paintings and works on paper. At the heart of the exhibition are 50 key works by Vincent van Gogh from all phases of his artistic work. It is the most comprehensive presentation in Germany to include works by the painter for nearly 20 years. Running until 16 February 2020, the exhibition will feature artworks from some of the world’s most renowned museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York and the National Gallery of Prague.

The largest and most elaborate show in Städel revolves around the special significance of German gallery owners, collectors, critics and museums for the success story of this precursor of modern art. It features more than 120 paintings and works on paper, including around 50 of the artist’s key works and 70 artworks by German artists. ‘Making Van Gogh’ addresses the special role that gallery owners, museums, private collectors and art critics played in Germany in the early twentieth century. Van Gogh was perceived as one of the most important ancestors of modern painting. Van Gogh’s life and work attracted broad and lasting public interest.  Van Gogh’s success story is closely connected with the Städel. With the support of the Städelscher Museums-Verein, it is one of the first museums to purchase works by the Dutch artist for assembling a modern art collection.

  EXHIBITION TOUR

tour extends over 2,000 square metres of exhibition space in the Garden Halls of the Städel Museum and is divided into three chapters: Legend, Influence, and Painting Style. The chapters deal with the origin of the legend surrounding Vincent Van Gogh as a person, his influence on the German community of artists, and finally his distinct style of painting, which fascinates numerous young artists.
