MATSYA by Utkarsh Ahuja Makes Its Mumbai Debut

The contemporary Indian fashion label has chosen Kala Ghoda for its latest chapter, bringing Utkarsh Ahuja’s distinctive take on modern Indian dressing to one of Mumbai’s most creative neighbourhoods.

Founded by designer Utkarsh Ahuja, the label brings together contemporary silhouettes, considered detailing and traditional craftsmanship, creating pieces that feel relevant to the way Indian fashion is evolving today.

With stores in Delhi and Hyderabad, the move to Mumbai marks a new chapter for the label. Kala Ghoda, one of the city’s most recognised cultural and creative neighbourhoods, makes a fitting setting, surrounded by galleries, design spaces, art institutions and an audience with a strong interest in fashion and culture.

The opening brought together guests from Mumbai’s fashion, lifestyle and creative circles. Mira Kapoor attended as the muse for the evening, alongside several well-known names who came to support the designer and experience the new space.
