A Stay to Savor
The arrival at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway had an unmistakably Indian warmth to it, with a traditional aarti offering a gracious welcome. Set within the expansive Brigade Gateway complex, the hotel has an impressive sense of scale, yet it feels remarkably self-contained. With several dining destinations, leisure spaces and experiences to choose from, there is little reason to leave the property once you arrive. It is the kind of place where a leisurely day can unfold entirely at your own pace, moving from a relaxed afternoon to dinner and drinks, without ever having to step outside. The afternoon was spent at Feast, and it was exactly the kind of Sunday I enjoy. Live music, a wonderful spread and plenty happening around the restaurant created a lovely sense of energy. And not to forget the different food stations, offering so much choice that there was always something else to try.

Later that evening, dinner was at The Persian Terrace. It was raining, so one of the cabanas became the perfect place to settle in for the evening. With the rain falling softly around me, almost like a gentle curtain, the setting felt wonderfully intimate.

A lovely young lady was serving me dinner, and then the chef and the manager came over to meet me. They were so warm and friendly, and the whole team took such good care of me. I ended up sitting there much longer than I had planned, simply enjoying the food, the setting and the rain outside.

The next morning, the Marcom team took me to The World Café for breakfast. It was an easy, unhurried start to the day, with a generous spread and plenty of time to sit back, chat and enjoy the morning. And, of course, there had to be a masala chai.
That first cup, savored slowly over breakfast, was the perfect way to ease into the morning and, after the dinner and conversations of the previous evening, a lovely way to bring the stay to a close.

There is plenty more to experience at the hotel. Horizon and High Ultra Lounge on the 31st floor offer beautiful views of Bengaluru, while Hydeout is a more relaxed option for an evening. The infinity pool, Shine Spa, Sheraton Fitness and Sheraton Club Lounge give guests plenty of ways to spend time at the hotel.
With its meeting and event spaces as well, the property caters comfortably to business travelers, weddings and celebrations.
What stays with me are the simple pleasures—the aarti at arrival, the afternoon at Feast, dinner in the rain at The Persian Terrace, the warmth of the chef and team, and that leisurely breakfast with chai at The World Café the next morning.
Good food, gracious hospitality and lovely memories to take away.
