Hotel Experience

Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal

Beyond the Stay

The stay at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal began at the airport, with the hotel arranging the pickup and a warm welcome waiting on arrival. There was an aarti at the entrance, a lovely touch after the journey, but the real surprise came a little later, in my suite.

At the center of the living room was a table with a mini dresser made entirely of white chocolate, with my photograph at its center. It was such an unexpected sight that I stopped to take it in. The little drawers brought another surprise—what looked like cosmetics were actually chocolates, accompanied by JuZZu Bee treats, a few sweets, and a welcome note. The Marcom team had clearly put thought into the stay, from the room arrangements to the spa and dining. It felt personal and playful without being overdone. It was a playful beginning to the stay, but there was clearly a lot of thought behind it.

The Marcom team had planned the stay around a series of experiences, including the spa and dining, while also paying attention to the details in the suite. After traveling, the hour at Tattva Spa was particularly welcome. I opted for a Swedish massage, and the treatment unfolded at an unhurried pace over the full hour. It was exactly the kind of pause needed after a journey, with enough time to relax properly before getting on with the rest of the day.

The hotel also has a rooftop infinity pool and a fitness center, giving guests a chance to step away from the room and spend some time outdoors or keep up with their usual routine..Dining at Hebbal Café was relaxed, with warm and attentive service. There was also time for dessert at Glazed, which offered a pleasant change of pace. With Nazaara and B’lore 45 adding two very different dining settings, the hotel has plenty of choice for guests who want to stay in for the evening.

Located in Nagavara, North Bengaluru, the hotel is convenient to Manyata Tech Park and Kempegowda International Airport. With 188 rooms and suites, a rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, spa, and extensive meeting and event spaces, it works well for both business and leisure stays.

A hotel stay is, of course, about the room, the food, the service, and all the facilities that come with it. Yet sometimes it is one small detail that stays with you.For me, at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, it was something much smaller. Before I checked out, the F&B team surprised me with a chocolate cake—a sweet gesture that brought the stay to a lovely close.

And then there was that little white chocolate dresser, created around my photograph, waiting in the suite when I arrived. Two simple gestures, at the beginning and end of the stay, that made the experience feel genuinely personal.
