PVR INOX Sets the Stage for a Festive October with 30+ Films in 8 Languages
From action and drama to horror, family favorites, regional cinema, and special event screenings, October is shaping up to be a month-long celebration at the movies.
PVR INOX Limited has rolled out its October lineup, and it’s a big one. Moviegoers can look forward to more than 30 titles across eight languages, featuring franchise blockbusters, regional hits, international releases, and one-of-a-kind cinema experiences.
October kicked off with Drishyam: The Conclusion, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, along with Prem Keetanu and the family-friendly animated adventure Doraemon: Castle of the Undersea Devil. On the international front, audiences can catch Verity, starring Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway, and Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s Digger, led by Tom Cruise.
The excitement only builds in the second half of the month. Rajinikanth and Mohanlal team up in Jailer 2, Rajkummar Rao takes the lead in Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story, and Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan star in Udta Teer. Street Fighter and Ranabaali round out the big releases. For Durga Puja, there’s a special Bengali lineup featuring Eken Babu and Bohurupi: The Golden Daku. Meanwhile, Mirzapur: The Movie and Hanuman Ansh are still pulling in strong crowds weeks after release.
Event cinema gets its moment too, with BTS World Tour: Arirang screenings from Buenos Aires and São Paulo, and the month wraps up with Sense and Sensibility. Select titles will also be available in premium formats including IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, ICE, and MX4D.
Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director of PVR INOX Limited, shared his optimism about the month ahead:
“September was a strong month for us, with audiences turning out in large numbers and titles like Mirzapur: The Movie and Hanuman Ansh showing remarkable staying power. That momentum has carried into October, with Drishyam: The Conclusion and The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest delivering over 60% occupancy and near-housefull shows across our screens. With Jailer 2, Nayi Naveli and Street Fighter still to come, this is one of our most exciting line-ups of the year. These are big films made for the big screen, and with the festive season underway, we expect a packed month at the cinemas.”
Whether you’re in the mood for action, drama, romance, or animation, PVR INOX’s October slate has something for everyone. Grab your popcorn and plan your next movie night.
