The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and Lakmé Fashion Week announce the Opening Show by Anamika Khanna’s pret label AK-OK to be hosted at the Fountain of Joy at the Jio World Centre on the 11th of October 2022. Anamika Khanna will be launching the much-awaited menswear line along with the highly coveted womenswear collection as part of the new AK-OK collection showcase.
The show will set in motion the return to an entirely physical, season-fluid edition of FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week scheduled from 12-16 October 2022. The five-day FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week season showcase will unfold through the convention centre’s several transformative spaces in never- seen- before formats.
AK-OK’s exciting new drop will showcase white cottons, prints in silk, and handmade shiboris, with the peeping-in of denims occasionally. Audiences can expect the latest collection to stay true to the label’s DNA with a melange of abstract prints, embroideries and silhouettes that are a foray into wilder prints, with a fresh 3D definition.
