An Iconic Partnership

Bata India, one of India’s leading footwear brands, is all set to partner with one of India’s foremost designers, Suneet Varma as he gears up to showcase his first ready-to-wear collection, at the upcoming edition of FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week in New Delhi. The unique partnership will combine Suneet’s design ethos and breezy silhouettes, with Bata’s timeless designs under its new Summer Spring Collection 2022.

Bata x Suneet Verma – FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week

The collection titled, ‘The Eternal Lightness of Being’ aims to celebrate life and living in the moment, with youthful, elegant day & evening separates with ensembles that transit easily from casual to a more special occasion with just a slight twist in styling.  Suneet is known for his effortless, feminine, and elegant designs, which closely mirror Bata’s design philosophy. Caressing textures using crinkled chiffon, crushed georgette, sheer organza and black, red and colourful thread embroideries will form the highlight of the collection. Along with these, tasseled short dresses, trousers, colour-on-colour sequin and thread embroidery on long evening dresses with seductive slits, origami-inspired rope embroidery on jackets & short sexy sarees, will display youthful sophistication that is in line with Suneet’s design philosophy.
