I have heard sugar is good for scrubbing. How will I use it?
Large grains of sugar (coarse sugar) can be used for scrubbing. Lemon juice should be added to the sugar just before application. The mixture can be rubbed on the hands or feet and then washed off. Or, take 2 tablespoons sunflower oil and 3 tablespoon coarse sugar. Mix together till it becomes a paste. Apply and rub into skin of your hands or feet. Rinse off after 15 minutes.
I have a wide jaw line. Please give me some tips for make-up.
For a wide jaw line, you will need two shades of foundation. One should be as close to your skin colour as possible, so that it is used for the rest of the face. The other should be one or two shades darker. Use the dark foundation at the jaw line, in a diagonal line, from the ears to the tip of the chin, on both sides. To make the face appear rounder, apply blusher (rouge) high on the cheekbones, blending it smoothly and softly downwards.
My hands and fingers are rough and dry. How can I make them smooth and soft?
For household washing chores, wear rubber gloves. Detergents can make the hands dry and rough. After using soap and detergents, apply cream and massage it into the skin. Three times a week, add pure almond oil to warm water and soak the hands in it for 20 minutes. Then, wash with plain water and apply cream.
I have dark circles under my eyes and dark patch around my mouth. Please suggest some home remedies.
The skin around the eyes is thin and delicate. Along with external care, you should have a nutritious diet and adequate sleep. As a home remedy, daily apply pure almond oil sparingly under the eyes and massage it lightly on the skin, using only the ring finger, for one minute under each eye. Massage in one direction only. Leave on for 15 minutes and wipe off gently with moist cotton wool. You can also mix cucumber juice and potato juice in equal quantities. Apply under eyes daily for 20 minutes. Wash it off with water. Mix honey and lemon juice in equal quantities and apply daily around the mouth. Wash it off after 15 minutes. Apply a sunscreen before going out in the sun.
