Shweta Rohira- From Being an Artsy Kid to Artsy Chic

In a candid chat, Shweta Rohira- the Artist/Writer and Entrepreneur speaks to RetroPop Lifestyle about her journey and forthcoming projects.

Secret of this transformation…you look so radiant!

Hahahah there is no secret I have been working on my physical and mental fitness and the transformation just happened but it’s a continuing process and if a lifestyle now.

Tell us something about your current and forthcoming projects?

I have just shot a short film with Anant Mahadevan sir called “Zarina” which is to release sometime soon that’s the latest project besides that I have been enjoying my interview sessions called ‘chitter chatter’ with different professionals all from various fields.

 What will you say about your journey and evolution as an artist as well as a person?

It’s a hobby and a passion from childhood which became a profession. I always from being an artsy kid to artsy chic. It’s been a few years now that I have been painting and handcrafting projects on commission basis.

Writing, painting, acting… what’s nearest to your heart and why?

All three they are my forms of expressions and they are what complete me as an expressionist!

 A multitalented person who is a writer, a painter .and an artist, any other option you would like to explore?

I think my plates are full and I m enjoying my buffet as of now not looking out to explore anything more but don’t know what future holds for me.

While selecting a career option- did you listen to your heart or brain?

Always heart!

Chitterchatterwithshwetarohira- is quite successful…what made you start your podcast show?

The idea of the show was to meet people during lockdown share their journey with everyone and enjoy a little chit chat.

The Best Memorable Moments of your life?

Well, there are too many to share but I think the most precious one is when I was on stage performing my play- ‘That’s My Girl’ and I had Waheeda Rehman Ma’am in the audience watching me. After the play ended, she paid me an enormous compliment –chota pataka so the memory gets more special.

What is Success according to you?

Success is achieving what you dream.

Do you believe in Destiny?

Totally everything that’s happening is destiny.

Any Dream project /profession?

Dream to perform with Sanjay Dutt  and share the screen space with him.someday.

 What about your Fitness regime?

Eat healthy and workout daily.

 What is your Beauty regime?

 I keep myself hydrated and regularly use my moisturizer and sunscreens. I always remove my make up before going to bed.
