Three decades ago, the Shahnaz Husain Signature Salon for Men. Currently located at Kohinoor Mall, Greater Kailash Part 2, New Delhi, had a most memorable opening. This first Salon for Men and a Beauty Training Academy for Men were inaugurated by the iconic super star Dilip Kumar in 1991. Before the opening, there was a get-together with friends and staff members.
It was the presence of the mega star, with his magnetic personality, that created so much interest. Today, the passing away of the legendary star evokes many memories of the times when he was a part of Shahnaz Husain’s life events. “I remember him as a dear friend and a wonderful human being,” says Shahnaz. “He always encouraged me in my work. The void left by him can never be filled. He will always remain an inspiration to future generations of actors. Today, let us celebrate his life, his immeasurable talent and achievements.”
