Long-distance relationships and marriages are hard to maintain. Here are a few points which could help you maintain balance and spark in your relationship.

- When both partners meet each other after a long period of gap, they both should greet each other well. It could a be warm hug, a kiss or they could do with a little flirting.
- Both the partners should spend more time with each other alone. It could be talking to each other at home or any cosy place.
- Planning small surprises like cooking a meal for your partner or getting their favourite dessert or beverage also helps in keeping the relationship alive.
- Frequent physical intimacy plays an important role in keeping the spark alive. It also works to strengthen the bond between the partners.
- Keeping a check on the well-being of each other also adds balance to the relationship and could keep the spark alive.
- A small friendly argument here and there aids a healthy relationship. Fights and arguments happen in every relationship but when your partner tries to cheer you up then at that point you should put the argument to rest. This would instil the importance in each of the other. Dragging arguments or fights could break the relationship completely.
- A small vacation filled with a lot of fun and relaxation could also help the relationship. During vacation both would be free from any work and would be available entirely to each other. This would bring both partners a lot closer.
