Selected for screening at Central Illinois Feminist Film Festival 2020 for its documentary category, Last Drop is a one minute film on water conservation by young Odia filmmaker Nishith Sahasransu Ray. The short film shows how people waste water in India. The film ends with statistics showing how a large number of women folk in certain parts of the country walk several kilometers to fetch water.The film was also selected for Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival and was a semi-finalist at the Miami 4 Social Change Youth Film Festival.
Synopsis – Every second India loses one drop of water from street taps. 1minute = 60 drops and 1day = 86,000 drops. This movie apprises us of the dire need to save water. Film – Last Drop
