Titled ‘First Light’, Amit Aggarwal’s line of festive lehengas ans saris was the final collection of Day 3 at LFW .He moved away from his last year’s finale collection that included a lot of structured silhouettes to a more fluid approach.

The colors of the cosmos -Saturn’s gold; Venus violets, Gamma Green and Earthy plum
The collection, presented visions of stars, floating planets and earthy images to Amit’s line was creatively based on a strong fabric foundation with organic Indian Chanderi and Matka silk merged with the designer’s expert industrial hand weaving techniques inspired by the traditional basket weaves. Leheriya technique was incorporated to enhance the celestial beauty of the clothes

“As we experience the world through the safety of our homes, stars continue to twinkle, and space remains vast and undisturbed. I dream of escaping into this gossamer freedom and wanted the collection to capture that sense of beauty. To me, it was fascinating to experience celestial weightlessness come to life through highly technical material and precise karigari. TRESemmé brought the idea of weightlessness into hair with an open and flowy style reflecting the lightness of this collection.”
