Lakmé Fashion Week, successfully concluded the nation’s biggest model hunt – Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 Model Auditions in Bengaluru, Jaipur and Guwahati this month. An eminent panel of experts chose two winners in each of the three cities – Akshara Balakrishna and Kirandeep Chahal from Bangalore, Gunjan Raghav and Akanksha Maurya from Jaipur, Suni Singha and Naina Shaikh from Guwahati. The selected winners will walk the ramp this Winter/Festive season.
For the first time ever, the participating models competed for the opportunity to feature in Lakmé’s digital content. Kirandeep Chahal – a student from Ludhiana who is also one of the winners from the Bangalore model auditions has been chosen as the winner from among 200+ participants across the three cities. The aspirants also competed for the chance to bag a contract with IMG Models, international leader in talent discovery and model management. Avanti Nagrath was chosen as the winner of the one-year IMG Models global contract.
