Ashima Leena’s ‘Nature’s Grove’ collection is a luxurious prêt collection draws inspiration from the beauty of nature and its scintillating elements. The palm leaf collection curated by Leena Singh showcases modern silhouettes with flared hems, offering a contemporary and stylish appeal for women.
The vivid hues, unique silhouettes, and distinctive patterns in this collection cater to the tastes of the modern woman, providing a perfect blend of fashion and nature-inspired aesthetics. The embellished blouse paired with the satin saree, adorned with blue organza ruffles, reflects intricate detailing that weaves a narrative with every bead, adding depth and storytelling to each garment.
The gold and black satin saree, skillfully embroidered with golden borders, stands out with its transition between black and white, symbolizing Ashima Leena’s evolution as a label. This metamorphosis is aptly showcased in prestigious events like the Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW), where the collection was featured.
The kaftan, featuring a mustard and grey leaf pattern, is meticulously designed with detailed curves that follow the contours of the body. The use of satin creates a surreal landscape for the weaver, with prints inspired by nature’s bounty painted over a white canvas.
Crafted from the finest materials, including heavy georgette, flowing satins, and cleverly used organzas, each silhouette in ‘Nature’s Grove’ aims to accentuate the wearer’s beauty. The collection also features intricate appliqué work, adding a touch of sophistication and craftsmanship to the overall design.
I was truly excited to be part of Lakme fashion week. Having participated in innumerable FDCI fashion weeks for years together , it’s a great feeling to have completed the full circle after having shown in the first ever LAKME FASHION WEEK of India in 1998 as a board member of FDCI says LeenaJ Singh
