Nupur Jha, a self-made international artist, presents her abstract artwork for the first time in India.

Nupur holds a Master’s in Business Economics and has spent over 17 years working with leading institutions in a variety of fields like financial inclusion, data analytics and wholesale banking across India and the UAE. She responded to her inner calling of Art a few years ago while living in South Africa whereby her paint brush complimented her creativity and bold expression with abstract art.
After holding a couple of successful events in Johannesburg, Nupur moved to Dubai in 2014 whereby she has held several exhibitions over the years with renowned events like Dubai World Art, DIFC Art Nights, Dubai International Art Center (gallery) and Indian Pavilion in Dubai Expo 2022 to name a few. Her work has also been featured for a week in Sep 2021 on digital screens across Dubai International Financial Centre which houses top notch multinationals with thousands of employees.
Nupur also has had the good fortune of being featured exclusively on Khaleej Times Newspaper both in print and digital media for her Abstract Art work.
She shall be proudly hosting her first event in India at the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre from 13 to 17 September 2022Curated by Mr.Shambhu Nath Goswami, new Delhiexclusively.

True to her craft of the Abstract, she has named her maiden exhibition in Delhi as “Vichitra”.
She firmly believes her art compliments the very trait our package of life comes along with ‘the bizarre’. The events in interesting lives are not predictable, they are not repeatable, and they require connecting the dots to understand or not. The ‘Vichitra’ nature of life is best left alone without compulsions of deriving meaning from it.
So, she believes is her Artwork. Best co-related with life, minus the strings. It’s there to be associated with your own life journey, dreamt about, and felt through your heart. Passing through frame by frame right in front of your eyes with ever-changing meaning. “Vichitra hi to hai”
