Corona virus Disease (COVID-19) Outbreak Situation

How to Protect Yourself –Spiritually

By Spiritual Healer & Hope Creator Dr. Priya Kaul

The virus is a pain that has impacted our crown chakra and our spiritually by blocking us to move forward.

For 10 seconds, if you hold your breath and in the back of your mind you start counting without coughing or any difficulty, than you are not affected by it.

In order to protect oneself from any virus or infection- it should be out of our lower vibration.

  • Imagine bringing into a white light of Divine protecting by closing your eyes and sitting alone in a quiet place.
  • Just imagine this divine white light entering your body the crown chakra ( third eyes, throat, heart till the end part).
  • Let the light out from your feet  and surround itself around you, to create a white divine circle.
  • This divine circle is like sending healing and protection to your loved ones and yourself in a positive way.

Be very positive, happy and vibrant with high frequency.

Global “NBA Together” Campaign in Response to Corona virus Pandemic

By Brian Martin, NBA.com

While the corona virus pandemic has suspended the 2019-20 NBA season, it has not lessened the league’s global impact and reach. Over the past week, 18 NBA and WNBA players created public service announcement videos to share important health and wellness information about ways to reduce the spread of the corona virus. Those videos have generated more than 37 million views across the league’s social media accounts.

The league is using its vast digital footprint and the powerful voices of teams, players, coaches, doctors and others across the NBA family tolaunch “NBA Together” – a global community and social engagement campaign that aims to support, engage, educate and inspire youth, families and fans in response to the corona virus pandemic.

The program is centered on four pillars – Know the Facts, Acts of Caring, Expand Your Community and NBA Together Live –that will amplify the latest global health and safety information, share guidelines and resources, and keep people and communities socially connected through digital tools and virtual events as everyone copes with the impact of the pandemic.

As part of NBA Together, the NBA family is committed to contributing and helping raise more than $50 million to support people impacted by the coronavirus and community and healthcare organizations providing vital services around the world, which includes the more than $30 million financial commitment already made by NBA and WNBA teams and players to date.

Know the Facts

This week, the NBA launched its Corona virus Information For NBA Fans webpage, which is updated daily with content and links to provide global fans the latest information on developments in their regions and how they can best protect themselves and others from the virus. The site features resources to reduce corona virus risk with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and local and federal health experts.

The NBA and WNBA will continue to use the influential voices of players, coaches and legends through public service announcements to inform fans on the best ways to stay safe and healthy in both their body and mind as the world faces the rapidly changing and evolving pandemic.

Acts of Caring

The “Acts of Caring” initiative looks to shine a light on the power of community and volunteerism by inspiring 1 million big and small acts of kindness. The NBA is calling on players, fans and the general public to share ways they are supporting friends, families and communities by posting photos and videos with the hashtag #NBATogether on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. These acts can include teaching virtual classes, buying groceries for neighbors in need or donating supplies.  Visit cares.nba.com/actsofcaring to learn morExpand Your Community

During this time of social distancing, the NBA is encouraging fans to expand their communities through content, activities and virtual engagement in an effort to stay physically and mentally healthy and active.

This includes the launch of “Jr. NBA at Home,” a new interactive content series for young people who are currently unable to play with their friends and teammates, but still want to be active, work on their game and connect with the NBA. The program features at-home basketball skills and drills that promote physical activity and character development and can be completed individually and in limited space. It also includes curated content and messages from NBA and WNBA players to inspire boys and girls around the world to stay active in a healthy and safe way. The program will feature daily posts on the @jrnba social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) and NBA digital properties across the globe, and integration with NBA technology partner and mobile basketball training application HomeCourt.

In addition to “Jr. NBA at Home,” the NBA will engage education and wellness partners, such as Scholastic Inc.,Discovery Education, and NBA Math Hoops, to promote existing resources for students and parents that have been adapted for at-home learning. NBA personalitiesand educators willcreate short virtual lessons that will make learning at home fun.

And in an effort to combat the higher levels of anxiety and stress during these uncertain times, the NBA, in partnership with Headspace, will provide mental wellness and resiliency resources and tools to encourage fans to be mindful of their mental wellness and the wellbeing of those around them.

NBA Together Live

Every weekday at 3:00 p.m. EST a member of the NBA family will engage with fans globally, participating in a live interview with NBA broadcast talent or taking questions from fans on Instagram live.  Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love will tip off the series beginning today. Additionally, every night the NBA will stream classic games on NBA social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.Tune in tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET to catch the Feb. 27, 2016 Warriors @ Thunder game.

To further help NBA fans stay connected with their favorite players and teams, the NBA partnered with Turner Sports to offer a free preview of NBA League Pass, the league’s premium subscription-based product, until April 22.  This complimentary offering features access to full length and condensed replays of all games from the 2019-20 season, as well as an expansive archive of classic games and content. Fans can redeem this free offer by signing into their NBA account through NBA.com or the NBA App on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android mobile and tablet devices, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and other supported devices.

The phrase “bigger than basketball” is often used when discussing the efforts of a player or team to make a positive impact in their community. The response to this global pandemic is the epitome of “bigger than basketball” as the NBA looks to do its part to help people across the globe come together and work through these tough times.

  • To go out, or not to go out – It is suggested to cancel non-essential doctor visit and to opt for scheduling a video session for appointments that can’t be missed.Going out in public during this time will be unsafe.
  • Video call visitors –Seniors should not encourage visitors. Instead, should opt for video calls to stay in touch with their friends and families. It is advisable to designate someone close to you in case of emergency.

Kunal Rawal

“This is a special collection for me indeed! I find Mumbai one of the coolest cities in the world, and that’s not just because I was born and brought up here. The pace and the energy of the city is unique because of the different cultures of people living on the same wavelength. They are all diverse and accepting, forming a creative melting pot. In other cities, everyone seems aloof with their own kingdom, but here everyone’s worlds are constantly colliding, usually because of their close proximity. The interaction is inevitable. I have brought this to life with a story behind every designThe highlight is the photosensitive styles for the first time, with the entire collection naturally gravitating towards symmetry, geometry and balance because they are part of my creative perspective.”

MID-CENTURY MODERN DESIGNS – A RAGING LUXURY TREND AT PRESENT

BASKING IN LUXURY

By Ar. Love Choudhary Founding Principal AND Studio

True luxury means, combining the finest quality pieces with functional design which is able to create a proficiency that overflows identity. This delicate word ‘luxury’ represents and defines the everyday reality in collaboration with opulence and grandeur. Sleek and uncluttered interiors influenced by mid-century modern designs makes for a raging  luxury home decor trend at present.

In the modern day open-plan interiors, a sense of luxury is established  with the use of superior finishes like marble tile, custom wood flooring and installing them seamlessly renders a luxe appeal to the expanse. Hence, contemporary residential trends revolve around a mixture of textures and finishes to choose from. Honed and polished, chiseled and smooth, the use of these materials is a great way to add a subtle richness and glamour to the residential space.

While designing a residential space, there are abundant themes and ideas to abide by. The concept of home decor keeps evolving with each passing year, bringing in new interior design options and trends that can be used to transform spaces. However, despite the diversity in décor options, one thing remains constant and that is the eternal appeal towards luxury. Multitude of options are available based on personal taste that act like catalysts, rendering a bespoke charm to the space. The concept of a neutral palette for the overall expanse is a classic idea that is used time and again.  Neutral colors are whites with cool or warm undertones and primary shades of grey and beige. The power of this neutral decor is such that it makes an excellent statement for walls and a great option for furniture and furnishings. Leading by example; located in Noida, The Seventy is a residence that is the epitome of elegant modern architecture. Designed by And Studio, it glorifies the use of neutral shades in their entire space. Bedrooms have a subtle colour palette and unique bifurcation of spaces that conceal some elements inconspicuously, yet displaying a certain holistic grandeur.

Moving on, another trend that is here to stay is the monochrome colour palette. Black and white are the beginning and end of the color spectrum. The clash between light and dark is a gift from the interior design gods as there couldn’t be a starker contrast between any two colors. An elaborate use of pristine Statuario white marble in the lobby areas of the Seventy exude a very calm and tranquil effect. A combination of superior white and exotic brown marbles along with hints of black granite has been used to design the royal bathrooms. The monochrome trend offers endless possibilities into the perspective of home decor. Hence there are a lot of variations that combine these two colors and pan out an aesthetically pleasing sight.

Lastly, a new trend “biophilia” incorporates human design and natural elements in a way that doesn’t seem manufactured, is doing the rounds. It incorporates organic elements from the environment and attributes towards a more sustainable design model. In the past few years, our society has grappled with climate change and the use of recycled wood for chairs, tables, and floors can contribute to the home’s organic aesthetic while promoting a clean, environmentally friendly home. The use of vertical gardens by And Studio is a brilliant thought executed to perfection as it minimises the overheating effect of the summer sun. As one enters the house, exquisite design language and ravishing light immediately relaxes the mind and feeds the soul. 2020 is all about giving back to nature. Hence, bedrooms and bathrooms are transformed into ethereal spaces created by using rich earthy elements including metals, wood, and stone.

Minimalism is out and maximalism is in. While minimalism focuses on toning things down and making it simple and straightforward, maximalism is the complete opposite. Maximalism is about embracing the grandeur. Big, bold, bright colors and patterns, gaudy decor and colorful abstract paintings are used as statement pieces that accentuate the look of the expanse. Regardless, the transition has happened from less is more to more is more. The residential design should satisfy the needs, desires and  functions required in homes. Personalization is key as the version of luxury and decor can vary from person to person.

our own style, tastes, and lifestyle goals in and from our homes.Personalization is key – your home design should satisfy your needs, desires and the functions you will need in your home. Your version of luxury, function and décor should vary from others’ – we all have our own style, tastes, and lifestyle goals in and from our homes.
