The award was received by Ms. Shubha Arora – Chief Peoples Officer, Schindler India & South Asia along with the team at the award ceremony which was held in December 2019 at India International Centre, New Delhi.

~A touch of sparkle. A ton of glamour. Mumbai Duty Free’s Beauty Fiesta 2019-20 was a magical affair, complete with exciting new launches, shiny displays and the most exquisite brands~ 

As travellers began getting into the spirit of Christmas shopping and stocking up on NYE essentials, the Mumbai Duty Free (MDF) store at the Terminal 2 Mumbai International Airport, fabulously rose to the occasion. This time, the store celebrated its 5th edition of the Beauty Fiesta, the retailer’s annual beauty shopping bonanza, in sheer style. The festival showcased excellent displays of all things beauty, offering unbelievable deals across leading brands in fragrances, makeup and skincare.

This time, there was a flurry of activity at this shopping paradise, which drew people in by its stunning in-store decor and variety of offers. To promote the festival, the Mumbai Duty Free store adorned with beauty themed decor including large banners, carefully crafted cut-outs and arches, dedicated brand installations and trolleys and even digital in-store signages. Luxe brands such as Hugo Boss, Bvlgari, Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne and more, boasted sleek new products and exclusive offers. Some of the key highlights of the festival were the season’s newest launches – Carolina Herrera’s Bad Boy, Bvlgari’s Man Wood Neroli, Davidoff’s Run Wild for Her, Marc Jacobs’ Vibes Spring Le Daisy Love and Hermes’ Twilly d’Hermes Eau Poivree, instant favourites that seemed to be vanishing off the racks!

In addition to these offerings, one of the biggest attractions of this year’s Beauty Fiesta was the addition of 3 new brands to Mumbai Duty Free’s portfolio – The American skincare brand Kiehl’s, the audacious French cosmetics brand NARS and the leading lingerie and beauty label, Victoria’s Secret.

To make the festival even more exciting, this year the retailer invited a group of beauty influencers to come experience the offerings in store. The event was designed to capture the essence and showcase the limitless array of beauty offerings at MDF. The guests were pampered with complementary hand massages at the skincare counters of Estee Lauder, Clinique, Victoria’s Secret and Kiehl’s. The event also highlighted Brands like Jo Malone, Tom Ford and Bottega Venetta which make for great gifting options, and last but not the least, offered quick and complementary makeovers at the hands of beauty experts from MAC, Dior, Burberry and more. MDF offers these complementary services to Mumbai International travellers all through the year, so that’s just one more reason to start making travel plans!
