Theme ‘The Fabric of Freedom’
The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA), in partnership with Interpride, has officially announced the theme for WorldPride 2025 in Washington, DC: The Fabric of Freedom. This announcement sets the stage for a series of powerful events and programming scheduled for next year’s gathering. Following the 2024 U.S. election, the theme underscores a call for unity and action among LGBTQ+ individuals and allies worldwide, emphasizing the interconnectedness of voices that are vital in advocating for safety, inclusion, and equity.
At a time when the global LGBTQ+ community faces significant challenges, the theme reflects the strength and resilience symbolized by the fabric of the Pride flag.
