Eros Hotel New Delhi celebrates Christmas 2025 with a joyful cake-mixing ceremony
The festive season arrived early at Eros Hotel New Delhi, Nehru Place, as the five-star property hosted its annual Christmas Cake-Mixing Ceremony 2025, bringing together guests, influencers, and hospitality professionals for a joyful start to the holidays.
The evening began with a prayer by Rubina Sharma, Hotel Manager at Eros Hotel New Delhi, who extended wishes for prosperity and collective well-being. A wish bowl was then passed around, inviting everyone to share their hopes for the coming year — setting a heartfelt tone of unity and gratitude.
Held at the poolside lawn, the event sparkled with festive décor, lights, and Christmas trees. Long tables were laden with a colourful mix of almonds, cashews, raisins, dates, apricots, orange peel, pistachios, and aromatic spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
Chef Diwas Wadhera and Rubina Sharma led the ceremony and performed the first step of the traditional cake-mixing ritual. Donning red aprons, guests and staff members enthusiastically participated, pouring the soaked ingredients into large containers, officially marking the beginning of the harvest and festive season.
To keep the spirit lively, the evening also featured a Christmas-themed quiz and fortune cookies, adding fun and laughter to the gathering. The ceremony concluded with a high tea and festive refreshments, perfectly complementing the warmth of the occasion.
