ELIE SAAB x H&M
ELIE SAAB and H&M are bringing couture-inspired glamour to the high street, combining intricate craftsmanship, eveningwear elegance and contemporary tailoring in a new designer collaboration launching in India on October 22, 2026.
Fashion collaborations often promise a meeting of worlds. Few, however, bring together the language of couture and the accessibility of the high street quite as directly as this new partnership.

Founded in Beirut, the Lebanese fashion house built its international reputation through bridalwear, couture and exquisitely crafted evening creations. Known for intricate embellishment, fluid silhouettes and a highly polished sense of glamour, its work has become synonymous with modern red-carpet dressing.

Elie Saab went on to become one of the first international members of France’s prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, further establishing his position within the world of haute couture. Today, the house extends across couture, ready-to-wear and accessories, while retaining the craftsmanship and distinctive aesthetic that have defined it from the beginning.

A Couture-Inspired Wardrobe for a Wider Audience
Launching in India on October 22, 2026, the new collection spans womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories, translating the designer’s signature codes into a more accessible wardrobe.
Expect embellished gowns, shimmering separates, sharply tailored pieces and delicate details designed to move between occasion dressing and contemporary everyday style. Lace, gradient sequins and signature monogram elements bring texture and recognisable character to the collection, while tailoring adds a sharper, more modern edge.
Importantly, the offering is not limited to statement eveningwear. Instead, it is conceived as a complete wardrobe, allowing the house’s aesthetic to extend across different occasions and styles.
“We are thrilled to announce this landmark collaboration with ELIE SAAB. Mr. Saab is a designer we have always respected—the journey from master of bridalwear in Beirut to the centre of Paris fashion is an amazing, rich story and we are so excited to be exploring his world. Our customers can expect a magical, ornate and glamorous collection,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear.
Elie Saab Brings His Signature Craftsmanship to the High Street
For the designer, the collaboration represents an opportunity to introduce a new generation of fashion followers to the house’s distinctive design language without losing the sense of detail and care at its heart.
“This collection is created for all who admire the world of ELIE SAAB, and I hope it will be embraced with the same enthusiasm it was created with. I am very happy with this collaboration and with the way we worked together with the H&M team to bring the collection to life. It has been a truly collaborative and inspiring process. Each piece has been created with care and dedication, bringing together a complete wardrobe that speaks to every moment of a woman’s life,” says Elie Saab, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer.
ELIE SAAB x H&M India Launch Date
The ELIE SAAB H&M collection launches in India on October 22, 2026, with the collection available through select stores and online.
The significance of the collaboration lies in its contrast. A fashion house long associated with couture gowns, elaborate embellishment and red-carpet glamour is entering a more accessible retail space, opening its visual vocabulary to a considerably wider audience.
For the Swedish retailer, meanwhile, the partnership continues a long-running tradition of working with some of the industry’s most influential designer names. For consumers, it offers the opportunity to bring elements of couture-inspired dressing into a more accessible wardrobe.
At its heart, this is less about simply putting a famous name on a high-street collection and more about translating a recognisable design philosophy—glamour, craftsmanship and occasion-led dressing—into something designed for a broader fashion audience.
