Apeejay Bangla Sahitya Utsob

15th and 16th January, 2021

Taking forward the rich literary legacy of Bangla Language

While Bengalis love their Bangla literature, music and art, they also love their festivals: it is no coincidence that Bengalis celebrate everything with much love and enthusiasm. The oldest bookstore in the city of Kolkata, Oxford Bookstore, marries these great loves of Bengalis—literature, music, art and festival—in its one of a kind festival, the Apeejay Bangla Sahitya Utsob (ABSU).

Started in 2015 in the premises of Oxford Bookstore Kolkata, ABSU in its sixth year will be held completely online on 15th and 16th January, 2021. This will help the event to reach out to a wider audience and establish its identity at the international level.
