I have oily skin. My foundation does not stay. Please suggest something.
First apply astringent lotion. After 10 minutes, apply a water-based foundation. Use a moist sponge to apply and blend the foundation. Then apply loose powder to set the foundation. Or, avoid foundation and use only powder compact. It will also reduce oiliness.
I bought a concealer to cover up my dark circles. Should it be applied after using foundation?
A concealer should be applied before applying foundation. The concealer should be one shade lighter than the foundation, in order to conceal dark circles. Avoid using a concealer, which is too pink. Choose one with a beige tone. Both concealer and foundation should be applied sparingly. Add a drop of water to the foundation for a lighter coverage. Heavy coverage with concealer and foundation shows up lines and wrinkles. After applying the concealer, wait for a few minutes and apply the foundation on the entire face and not just under the eyes.
I am 45 years old and I have dry skin and wrinkles on my face. Please suggest remedies.
You should keep your skin well moisturized during the day. Apply sunscreen before going out in the sun. It is necessary to nourish the skin daily with a good nourishing cream. Or, you can use pure olive oil or pure almond oil. Apply it on the face and massage it on the skin for a few minutes with outward and slightly upward movements. Once daily, mix honey with milk and apply, washing it off after 15 minutes. Use a face mask once or twice a week. Mix two choker (wheat bran) with one teaspoon each of ground almonds, curd, honey and coconut oil. Apply on the face and wash it off after half an hour.
I have a problem with lice. I used anti-lice shampoo, but they came back.
Apply vinegar daily on the scalp and hair. After half an hour, comb with a lice comb to take out the lice. The nits (eggs) have to be taken out by hand. Vinegar loosens them. Then shampoo the hair with a mild shampoo. After washing the hair, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to half a mug of water and use as a last rinse. Again comb with the lice comb. Do this daily for one week. The anti-lice shampoo may be used once a week. Try to get apple cider vinegar.
