Christie’s presents Handbags Online: The Paris Edit

 Following the success of the Most Collectible Bags and Inside the Orange Box single owner collections sold this year, the Handbags & Accessories department is delighted to announce its upcoming Paris auction. Handbags Online: The Paris Edit is offering a curated selection of the most rare, desirable and sought-after handbags and accessories.

From 3 to 17 November 2022, Handbags Online: The Paris Edit celebrates exceptional craftsmanship featuring pieces from Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Delvaux, Dior and more. With an overall estimate in the region of €2M, collectors will have the opportunity to acquire numerous Hermès limited editions and extremely rare models in a wide array of materials and colors with starting bids from €100 to €120,000.

The auction is introducing for the first time at auction an Exceptional Matte White Niloticus Crocodile Himalaya Sellier Kelly 25 with Palladium Hardware from 2022 (€120,000 – 160,000). This Sellier version is the newest interpretation of the iconic Himalaya Kelly, reimagining the most collectible Himalaya Collection. Crystallizing Hermès’ legendary savoir-faire, an exceptional and highlight of the sale, this piece is still unmatched on the market.
