Recently, India’s very own Metaverse Man, Daler Mehndi shared a throwback Thursday post on his gram profile. The Indian pop king shared his joy with his fans when he shot to international fame in 1994, just a year before his debut album Bolo Tara Ra Ra.
In 1995, Pop king Daler Mehndi debuted with his hit non-film music album, Bolo Tara Ra Ra. The album became a cult after its release. To date, the album remains the biggest-selling non-film music Indian pop album. The Punjabi music album crossed the regional limits and more than a million units were sold in Kerala.
“I remember wherever we walked, people addressed me as the Balle Balle Man. Bhangra got established on the world map at this contest,” Mehndi says.
Voice of Asia is a music festival held annually in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This festival holds a repute of international fame. Artists from all over Asia usually take part in this festival.
This Year, Daler Mehndi created history for the Indian Music Industry by doing the First ever Metaverse Concert.
