Inspiration
It was a surprise visit to the Shekhavati region in November 2021 that inspired the designing duo with the artistry of the murals and frescos.Five hand-painted, reinterpreted prints were created to adorn their creations in the five fashion categories. Each print was homage to the artists and artisans with shimmering skein lustre and painstaking detailing.
Key Features
For the Surocco (Safari) line it was an abstract interpretation of the Cacti motif over white. The Ledger Mash (Ski) look had the brand’s archival print Leger Leisure deconstructed into the 90’s collage artwork
For the Zoolostamp (Cruise) design it was a mélange of animal, Bandhani and multiple textures in the form of hand painted blocks against a deep black background using ink and bleach for the painting forms.
For Solscape (swim) and Maru (Resort) the inspirations were the rose-tinted skies and scenery of Rajasthan that was featured in the form of kaleidoscopic landscapes, like the golden dunes of the blue city and the gorgeous sunsets.
Use of hand techniques like hand knitting, crochet, hand machine embroidery and shuttle needle lace and 3 D motifs
Fabrics Used
Crystal mesh, chain mail fabric, pure cotton, silk, linen, as well as silk jersey and quilted puffer textures

Miss Universe 2021, HarnaazKaurSandhu, in an auburn velvet halter gown accentuated with statement crystal accents and eyewear from John Jacobs.
