Weight loss: Take less stress and sleep well every day. Both these factors are important for your weight loss regime to work efficiently. Here are more tips that will always work.

If you have just started with your weight loss journey, then this article can be of great help to you. The first few days of any change in life are usually the most difficult ones. You may constantly think of giving up and find it very challenging to adapt to those changes. When you begin with the weight loss journey, both exercising and diet regime may seem difficult to follow. Reducing your calorie intake and trying to move your body after days, weeks and even months of laziness can seem exhausting, especially the first few days.

Drink Water Regularly – Yes it helps you lose or maintain your weight, we also call it “Water Therapy”. Do you want to know how it works? Good quantity intake of water leads to proper hydration which leads to lose weight. Extra water can replace empty, sugary calories many people drink with meals. Water also seems to speed up your metabolism, and it takes up space in your stomach so you feel fuller. This is because water can increase satiety and boost your metabolic rate. Some evidence suggests that increasing water intake can promote weight loss by slightly increasing your metabolism, which can increase the number of calories you burn on a daily basis.

Trim Portions – I also recommend eating small, frequent meals and snacks (every 3-4 hours), to keep your blood sugar levels steady and to avoid overindulging. It is proven that small but frequent meals work wonders instead of 3 meals a day concept. By just reducing your meal portions by 10%-20%, you would manage to lose weight. Most of the portions served both at home are bigger than you need. Pull out the measuring cups to get a handle on your usual portion sizes, and work on paring them down. Alternatively move to small bowls, plates, and cups, and trust me you won’t feel deprived because the food will look plentiful on the dishware.

 Drink Lemon Water with Honey – Lemon water and honey are two of the most common   ingredients found across kitchens in India. Each morning make a glass of lemon water and add 2 teaspoons full of honey into the water. Mix and drink it. Honey is known to be full of medicinal properties, and lemon helps in detoxing the digestive systems. All of these help the body to let go of the excess fat and the effects are visible in just weeks. This is one of the simplest weight loss remedies at home.
