Varun Bahl

The Fall 2021 collection Memory / Mosaic- an ode to the timeless journey of couture and its beautifully evolving forms. And this collection comprises draped skirts and dresses paired with bralettes, jackets with power shoulder, lehengas, peplum tops with skirts, slip dresses paired with long jackets, capes with trousers, as well as elegant sarees, all realised in fabrics like organza, silk, satin, tulle, velvet, and even denim.

The collection is a classic mix of  bold and beautiful for the Gen z brides who want to party and chill in a comfortable outfit. Girls can breathe, eat and sleep in this couture.

Highlights

·        Varun created an archive of breathtaking work in hand-embellishments, supported by master craftspeople around the country as well as in-house artisans. By creating artistic mosaics of embellished pieces, he experimented with the idea of upcycling.

·        Designs and cuts simplified and infused  with a certain refreshing lightness so that you’re encouraged to wear them more often, and in different ways.

·        Signature floral-inspired prints, added those to the mix. It’s slightly bohemian, with a hint of glamour.
