FDCI’S DIGITAL EDITION-DAY TWO

Suneet Varma

Noor by Suneet Varma is a mix of old traditional arts with a modern eye- for the shapes and silhouettes. Soft 16 kali skirts in silk tanchoi with long trails, sheer, mysterious veils in tulle, and sharara sets in silk georgette. The groomwears are pastel-colored sherwanis with thread embroidery and modern hemlines.

Highlights

 * Fine craftsmanship and exquisite intricate elements in hued compositions where each ensemble narrates an emotional story of its own.

* Tone-on-tone embroidery in delicate glass beads, crystals, and threadwork. The Bridal wear has lavish embroidery in gold zari thread work with silver Zardosi to give it a modern twist.

Color Story

Pastels – in mint, ice-blue, blush, and yellow. The wedding collection is in varied shades of Ruby, Sindhoor, and Sienna Reds.

Suneet Varma on his Collection

” I understand the importance of finery and couture at an Indian wedding, and I also understand the needs of the modern young Bride and Groom- whether the wedding is a lavish one or an intimate elopement “
