Day One

The “Profusion” collection is described as a harmonious tapestry inspired by the crystallized colors of stones. It offers a versatile range of clothing suitable for festive couture, occasion wear, and luxury resort creations. The collection draws from the multitude of colors found in crystallized stones, resulting in a vibrant palette that includes fuchsia, jade, aqua, blush, pale blue, deep blue, and lilac. This color scheme is skillfully integrated into the collection, creating a kaleidoscopic and poetic merger between vibrant tones and various textures.

Key highlights

Inspiration and Palette:

The inspiration for the collection is the multitude of colors seen in crystallized stones.

The palette includes a variety of vibrant tones such as fuchsia, jade, aqua, blush, pale blue, deep blue, and lilac.

Harmony of Hues and Textures:

The collection features a harmonious blend of hues that create a fashionable symphony, especially when cool blue shades harmonize with metallic designs.

Various textures are explored, adding depth and richness to the ensembles.

Fashion Stanza of Sheer Poetry:

The collection is expressed through threads, beads, and intricate designs.

Ensembles are likened to a bouquet of stylish dreams, showcasing delicate embroidery, striking textures, vibrant motifs, and immaculate construction.

Silhouettes:

Silhouettes seamlessly transition from modern reinterpretations of drapes, offering a new twist on the traditional sari.

Evening wear includes lush creations with intricate embellishments and creatively constructed ensembles that balance elegance.

Star Attraction

Singer and actress Saba Azad in a blush, oversized, cropped jacket, wrap-around pants, and glitzy inner rocked on the ramp.

Also Keeping Saba company on the runway was actor and musician Imaad Shah, who looked dapper as he skillfully played on his guitar, wearing an all-black trio of jacket, trouser and shirt with a shimmering cummerbund.

Bringing the show to a glamorous end was sprightly Alaya F. who strutted on the runway in sheer, gleaming, beaded, tasselled pants and a tiny, backless bralette. Feminine, fluid and at times fragile in beauty, the “Profusion” collection from Geisha Designs by Paras and Shalini was a melodious tapestry of nature’s medley in fashion.
