Where Cultures Converge

Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI continued its global fashion dialogue with the showcase of Hatsibana by Russian designer Fatima Shogenova, presented in collaboration with the Russian Fashion Council. As part of FDCI’s ongoing designer exchange programme, the initiative builds upon the strong reception to ZAZA’s showcase in March — expanding creative ties between India and Russia.

“Cultural exchange remains vital to placing Indian fashion in a larger global conversation,” said Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI. “This partnership celebrates diversity, creativity, and mutual respect between our industries.”

The presentation offered a new lens into contemporary Russian design — a fusion of artistic identity and forward-looking craftsmanship — reinforcing FDCI’s mission to foster international design ecosystems and creative cross-pollination.
