Indian Theatre Traditions book authored by Ms. Shovana Narayan

The book Indian Theatre Traditions, authored by Padmashri Shovana Narayan,Kathak Maestro  and published by Shubhi Publication  was unveiled at Lalit Hotel. This book depicts multi-dimensional theatrical traditions of India that includes drama, dance and music, folk and classical.

The book has covered areas of puppetry, martial arts and the tradition of masks. It delves into the roots of various streams of Indian culture including a deep reflection on the applicability of the ancient treatise on dramaturgy, the Natyasastra.
