Paolo Fresu, Rita Marcotulli, and Trilok Gurtu are renowned for their virtuosity and versatility, representing a fusion of diverse musical traditions. They seamlessly blend Mediterranean melodies with the rhythmic complexities of Indian folk beats, offering a unique and captivating experience for audiences.According to Vincenzo de Luca, Ambassador of Italy to India and Nepal, “India, Jazz Up!” epitomizes the deep-rooted cultural ties between Italy and India, serving as a testament to the enduring friendship and solidarity between the two nations. This collaborative effort underscores the significance of cultural diplomacy in fostering mutual understanding and appreciation.
