A Culinary Fusion of Art & Indulgence in the Maldives

THE OZEN COLLECTION is set to redefine dessert artistry with an exclusive collaboration featuring legendary pastry chef Janice Wong at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO from 24th to 26th April 2025. Known for her avant-garde edible creations, Chef Wong will transform the island into a culinary canvas, presenting immersive dessert experiences, interactive workshops, and breathtaking chocolate installations.

Edible Masterpieces Inspired by the Maldives

Chef Wong will debut a three-metre-tall chocolate wall, crafted from sustainably sourced chocolate and inspired by the Maldives’ vibrant coral reefs. Guests can pluck hand-painted bonbons from its 100 reef-like cavities, indulging in a multisensory experience.

Beyond the installation, live dessert stations at the resort’s overwater venues will feature delicacies like Yuzu Meringue Clouds and Salted Caramel Lava Spheres, paired with fine dessert wines.

Gourmet Collaborations & Exclusive Experiences

  • 24th April: A four-hands gourmet dinner at the underwater restaurant M6m, where Chef Wong and OZEN LIFE MAADHOO’s Executive Chef Alok will curate a dessert degustation menu, fusing Maldivian flavors with modernist techniques. Limited to 40 guests.
  • Daily Chocolate Art Workshops: Younger guests can craft edible art using chocolate crayons, rice paper, and mini canvases, taking home personalized creations.
