Returning to the runway after nearly three and a half years, Manish Malhotra presented Luxury Prêt 2026, a fresh take on modern glamour that balanced the house’s signature opulence with a more fluid, effortless approach to occasion dressing. Sculpted silhouettes, elongated lines, cropped jackets, fluid skirts and sweeping drapes explored the interplay of structure and movement. Luminous gold, burnished silver and reflective surfaces lent the collection a striking metallic sheen, while intricate embellishment and careful construction kept the richness of Indian craftsmanship at its core. The show also opened a new chapter for the house with the introduction of Menswear Luxe Prêt, extending its distinctive design language into a versatile men’s wardrobe.

SHOWCASE HIGHLIGHT
The debut of Manish Malhotra Menswear Luxe Prêt emerged as a defining moment, introducing refined shirts, modern separates, relaxed tailoring and layered silhouettes. Blending Indian influences with a cosmopolitan sensibility, the line reimagined menswear for a generation seeking luxury that feels expressive, adaptable and relevant well beyond traditional occasionwear.

SHOWSTOPPERS: SARA ALI KHAN AND AYUSHMANN KHURRANA

Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana commanded attention in coordinated black couture. Sara wore a floral-embellished tube top with a black draped skirt and a matching scarf, pairing intricate detailing with soft, flowing movement. Emerald pieces from Manish Malhotra Fine Jewellery added a rich pop of color, standing out beautifully against the all-black look. Ayushmann complemented her in a structured black jacket with silver detailing, styled with a matching black shirt. Together, their contrasting silhouettes brought the collection’s defining elements—fluid draping, sharp structure, and modern glamour—into focus.

WHAT CAUGHT OUR EYE

01. Glamour in Motion: Flowing skirts, elongated silhouettes, and sweeping layers gave the collection a natural sense of movement. The contrast between sculpted shapes and fluid draping kept the looks polished without feeling overly formal.

02. The Metallic Moment: Gold, silver, and reflective finishes delivered standout shine, adding depth and drama while allowing the silhouettes and craftsmanship to take center stage.

03. A Fresh Take on Menswear: The debut of Menswear Luxe Prêt introduced refined shirts, contemporary separates, relaxed tailoring, and versatile layers, bringing a modern sensibility to the house’s signature aesthetic.

04. Craftsmanship with a Contemporary Edge: Intricate embellishments, considered finishes, and precise construction highlighted the beauty of Indian craftsmanship through a distinctly modern lens.

THE TAKEAWAY

With Luxury Prêt 2026, Manish Malhotra offered a fresh perspective on contemporary luxury, bringing together Indian craftsmanship, modern occasionwear, and a new direction in menswear. The collection stayed true to the house’s love of glamour while embracing a more fluid, versatile approach to dressing. The result was luxury that felt expressive and sophisticated, with an emphasis on movement, individuality, and pieces designed to make an impression well beyond the runway.
