The 27th IIFA Weekend & Awards comes to Etihad Arena, Yas Island, on January 22 and 23, 2027
Shahid Kapoor is heading back to IIFA. The actor has been confirmed as a performer for the 27th IIFA Weekend & Awards, which takes place on January 22 and 23, 2027 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.Kapoor has a long history with the event. Over the years he has appeared at IIFA as a nominee, a host and a performer, and his stage acts have become one of the things audiences look out for each edition.”IIFA has been a special part of my journey over the years… as an actor, a host and a performer,” he said. “Some of my most memorable moments have happened on that stage, and there’s always an incredible energy when audiences from around the world come together to celebrate Indian cinema.”
This will be his first performance at IIFA since the event moved to Abu Dhabi, where it has now settled in for the 2027 edition.”Abu Dhabi has become a fantastic home for IIFA, and I’m looking forward to being back on that stage,” he added. “I can’t wait to bring the energy, music and madness back to IIFA and make this edition one to remember.”Kapoor is the first performer announced for IIFA 2027.
