Four perfect bottles by Pernod Ricard India to sparkle your holiday season

With the holiday season approaching, it is time to bring out the wine glasses and celebrate with our loved ones. Whether you are sharing a gift with family or friends or offering a token of appreciation to a client or your boss, a nice bottle of wine always goes a long way. We have some perfect wines to add the festive spirit to holiday dinner parties–Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir, Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Shiraz, Campo Viejo Tempranillo and Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc.

  • Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir: The refreshing lemon citrus aromas of Chardonnay are in harmony with the red currant characters of Pinot Noir. Generous citrus fruit flavours are enhanced with creamy nutty yeast characters providing both richness and structure. The wine finishes soft, crisp and clean. Serve chilled, it can be enjoyed on its own or with scrumptious holiday food. The wine pairs deliciously with soul foods like macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, a creamy soup and even the favourite Indian papdi-chaat.

*Price range – Upto INR 2,100 /-

  • Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Shiraz: A soulful wine made from rare mix of high-quality grapes and matured in Scotch Whisky barrels. The use of the ‘Double Barrel’ technique is an industry first and builds additional layers of complexity for a richer, deeper and smoother taste. The wine pairs deliciously with red meat curries, tandoori food and even food with a scrumptious plate of pav-bhaji.

*Price range – Upto INR 2,700/-

  • Campo Viejo Tempranillo:Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of around 25ºC. The wine spends 4 months in oak casks before rounding off its ageing in the bottle. Crafted from 100% premium Tempranillo grapes, the result is a fresh and lively fruit expression of the variety that is undeniably Campo Viejo. Campo Viejo Tempranillo is best enjoyed with a rack of lamb, grilled chicken and baked pasta and other tomato- based dishes and tandoori platters.

*Price range – Upto INR 2,200/-

  • Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc: A well balanced wine with sweet fruit flavours and crisp acidity usually associated with this style. It has sweet ripe fruit characters with a delightful mix of citrus, floral, pear, tropical fruit and crisp nettle highlights abound. This powerful wine is almost pungent in its intensity with full fruit flavours across the spectrum, from ripe tropical fruit to lush pink grapefruit. This wine can be matched with barbecued prawns or salmon and poached white fish with fresh green salads containing parsley, pepper or lemon. Mediterranean and Turkish dishes with hummus, olives and feta will also match well.

*Price range – Up to INR 2,500/-

The wines will be available this festive season in all major retail outlets pan-India.

*Note: Varies as per state regulations
