From the Streets of Amritsar to DLF Mall of India, Noida

“K se Kulcha”

Hunt for the best Amritsari kulchas ends here! Bite into varied lip smacking breads at “K se Kulcha” located in DLF Mall of India is undoubtedly the best place to be when desiring a plate of scrumptious, buttery kulcha.

Bringing the spicy aroma, soft on inside, crisp on outside, the bread is prepared in tandoor with different stuffings. When topped with butter and served with Punjabi chole and chutney, it makes one’s mouth watery.
The kulcha and its rich taste will make you drool over this Punjabi meal for sure. The crunchy onion-stuffed kulchas are served along with chickpeas and tangy chutney to give your taste buds that heavenly taste.

The tandoor, herbs and spices, including the unique chole masala which is used in the making, are specially prepared to provide foodies with an authentic taste.

Excerpts from a conversation with the owner Manas Wadhwa

·        The restaurant business worldwide was one of the hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. What is your take?

Satisfying our customers tops the priority list, therefore, after the hammer-like hit of Covid 19, we came across the reluctant nature among masses where they wanted to enjoy street spices like before the new normal came into existence but the agitation of getting infected was high or the cost of falling sick was such that they are forced to avoid their liking in this sphere. We take all necessary precautions against covid 19.

·         Which are the Best Selling Menu items?

The menu offers a plethora of dishes, where one of our most loved & lowest costing dishes, bhelpuri (we all have been having this since childhood) is priced at INR 99/- on the other hand our chefs’ special Butter Chicken Kulladh is priced at INR 229/-, thus, we let our customers enjoy the mouth-watering, soul-full flavours of the street right in their budget.

One of our Best Selling kulcha is the multigrain kulcha bread which is served along with delicious, smokey Punjabi style chole. We also offer varieties of kulcha that are not just healthy and tasty but also rich in essential nutrients. Our field professionals, working behind the screen (in the kitchen) make sure to maintain a healthy balance of ingredients,” he added.

·        What about your future plans?

Being a first-generation company we have a very aggressive expansion idea. We are eagerly looking for business growth partners who would like to shake hands with us. We are mainly focusing on the FOCO (Franchise Owned Company Operated) Model, where outlets will be operated by us and investment is sought from a franchise partner. Furthermore, initially, we plan to focus on the Delhi NCR market only. We are in process of developing various formats of our outlets which could be further branched out into market-specific locations. In simple words, Kiosks for the food court in malls, full-service sit-down outlets for high streets market.
