IHCL CELEBRATES JAIPUR'S RECOGNITION AS A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE CITY

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) celebrates Jaipur’s UNESCO World Heritage status and invites guests to experience the regal splendor of Maharajas and Maharanis in the exclusive residences of Indian royalty. Recognized for its sensitive restoration of authentic Grand Palaces and heritage hotels, IHCL has been instrumental in developing India’s tourism potential in Rajasthan and putting Jaipur on the global map with the iconic Rambagh Palace in the year 1972.

The erstwhile residence of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen, Maharani Gayatri Devi, Rambagh Palace was built in 1835. This living legend of Jaipur offers the finest traditions of Rajput hospitality, its elegant rooms, marbled corridors, and majestic gardens echo with history, and every corner has a story to tell.

Painstakingly restored and recently refurbished, Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur is a stunning piece of Rajasthan’s heritage and a great example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Set amidst 18 acres of landscaped Mughal gardens, this 18th century Palace has been the residence of three Prime Ministers of the princely state of Jaipur.

Offering breath-taking views of the Aravalli Hills, The Gateway Hotel Ramgarh Lodge, Jaipur was the former hunting lodge of the Maharaja and Maharani. Built in 1930, this heritage hotel is an exceptional blend of contemporary design with old-world charm.

Jaipur is known for its vibrant culture, history, and architectural marvels. Avail a complimentary third night when you stay for two nights along with a host of other benefits at select hotels for bookings and stays till 30th September 2019.
