EA7 Emporio Armani announces first store in India

The Armani Group is pleased to announce the opening of a new EA7 Emporio Armani store in India located at the Select CITYWALK Mall in New Delhi. The debut of the first stand-alone EA7 Emporio Armani store in India coincides with the exclusive launch of the brand on the e-commerce platform Ajio.com.

The store is located on the ground floor and spread over 560 sq. feet, the interior is geometrical, organised into squared shapes and straight lines.

Giorgio Armani and his team of architects designed the store using the white colour from the floor to the ceiling, wrapping the walls, to define bright spaces and enhance product visibility.The consistency of the space is enhanced by the black bulkhead that wraps the store in two luminous rings. Meanwhile, the sport-inspired “7 pattern” leads the attention to the most important areas inside the store, and also features on the external façade, giving a distinctive appearance to this new home for the EA7 collection.

EA7 Emporio Armani is the line devoted to those who practise sport. Launched in 2004, the line specialises in technical clothing for men and women to meet the requirements and needs of seven different sport disciplines: Training, Water, Tennis, Club, Speed, Basket and Mountain. Ongoing research and development together with the use of the latest generation technology, and the distinctive Armani style, are the strong points of a line that offers clothing designed to guarantee utmost comfort whilst also meeting the highest standards in terms of breathability and water resistance during training and competitions.

Tofu Delight

Crispy Tofu Tacos in Sweet & Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

Cornitos Tacos Shells 4inch 4no
Refined Oil 250ml
Tofu Juliennes 200gm
Corn Flour 150gm
Salt and Pepper to taste
Soya Sauce 3tbsp
Vinegar 1tbsp
White Pepper a pinch
Spring Onion 100gm
Bell Pepper Juliennes 50gm
Roasted Sesame Seeds (white) 10gm
Red Chili Paste ½ tbsp
Water 10ml

Recipe

In a mixing bowl, add the boiled and julienne tofu & marinate them with salt, pepper and cornflour. Fold them properly in the marination, make sure corn flour is properly coated on the mushroom.
Heat oil in a frying pan, gently place the marinated mushrooms one by one to avoid clinginess of tofu.

Preparation of Sweet & Spicy Sauce

Heat little oil in sauté pan, add minced garlic till the aroma of garlic is left, then add chopped ginger, mix them for 1min, add tomato ketchup 4-5tbsp add 3-4 tbsp water stir them for 2-3 mix, add soya sauce 2tbsp, add 1tsp vinegar, add the bell pepper, sauté them for 3-4min. Sauce is prepared

Preparation of Tacos Stuffing

Re-fry the tofu in oil until crisp golden brown.
Add the tofu in prepared sauce, mix it well so that all the flavors from sauce are absorbed by mushrooms, add spring onion, toss them gently, sprinkle roasted sesame seeds stuffing.

Heat the Cornitos tacos for 20sec, and stuff the prepared stuffing of tofu in the center of tacos

Plating Techniques

Crispy fry some noodles in little oil, and arrange tacos in a platter, garnish with chopped coriander and sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on top of it.

Exfoliating

Exfoliation removes dead skin and helps unclog pores. It also helps in growth of new skin cells giving you a glowing skin. Make sure you exfoliate for new this will help the skin to absorb the moistruring products better and will make them more effective. In short, a regular exfoliating routine will leave your skin looking fresh and healthy.

Toning

This process is very significant as removes the leftover dirt from the skin. Toners are effective at balancing the skin’s pH level. Toning helps to calm and balance the skin and prepare it for your next important step of moisturizing.

Moisturising

The basic function of moisturizers is to help treat your skin when it’s dry and prevent it from drying out again. Moisturizers do this by holding water in the outermost layer of the skin. Moisturising process keeps your skin hydrated and soft.

Serums are water based treatments which contain a much higher concentration of active ingredients and nutrients such as Vitamin C, E and K. The molecules in serums are smaller than those in a moisturizer, giving them the ability to penetrate through the pores and deep beneath the skins epidermis absorbing all those good ingredients and nutrients deep within the skins layers, where it is needed most. Serums work on the immunity of the skin and give a glowing effect.

Udit Narayan’s New Music Video ‘Tere Bagair’ out on YouTube.

This is Udit Narayan’s first step into the world of music (outside of film).After 40 years in Film Music, the Veteran play back singer debuts as a Solo Artist for a music video, ‘Tere Bagair’, featuring his son, Aditya Narayan in the lead character. Aditya is also the associate director and producer of the song. The music is composed by Shreyas Puranik and the lyrics are written by Prashant Ingole. Eeshan Tripathi and Shamita Bhatkar are the music producers of the song.

The Veteran singer got his first notable recognition from the song “Papa Kehte Hain” (Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak). Udit Narayan is the only male singer in the history of the ‘Filmfare Awards’ to have won in over three decades (the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s).

Recipient of Padma Shri (2009), and the Padma Bhushan in 2016 by the Government of India, 21 of his tracks feature in BBC’s “Top 40 Bollywood Soundtracks” of all time.

Vikas Khanna’s Feed India Drive completed 5 Months

Michelin-star Vikas Khanna turned his focus to India’s hungry, by starting a Mission ‘Feed India’ to provide millions of meals to poor Indians who suffered under the corona virus lockdown.

This Initiative which the New York based Indian American Vikas started with a single tweet on April 1 became a movement within a very short span of time. On Sep 1, his ‘Feed India’ Drive completed 5 months of its persistent journey and fed millions in more than 135 cities across India during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“What started with a simple vision to Feed India has now become a movement. From old age homes to orphanages to leprosy centers to highways to trains to buses to fuel stations to quarantine centers to abandoned elders shelters… On Sept 1st, we completed 5 months of ‘Feed India’,” said Vikas Khanna. Khanna’s ‘Feed India’ is one of the World’s largest food drives of this era.

The campaign crossed the 30 million-meal (cooked and dry ration) mark. Besides food, Vikas and his team of volunteers are providing 30 Million Meals 400,000 Slippers 3 Million Sanitary Pads 2 Million Masks.
