World’s first mainstream Sanskrit film "Aham Brahmasmi" movie trailer launched in New Delhi

Aham Brahmasmi” movie trailer launched

Trailer Launch of the first mainstream Sanskrit film in world cinema “Aham Brahmasmi” and the success meet of the glorious film “Rashtraputra” – Showcased at Cannes film festival (Marche Du Film) France on 21st May 2019. The ceremony was headed by Writer-Director-Actor Aazaad and special guests of the ceremony are Prof. R. C. Kuhad (Vice-Chancellor – Central University of Haryana), Dr. Hari Ram Mishra (Senior Educationalist – Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi), Shri Jay Prakash Gautam (Uttar Kshetriya Sangathan Mantri, Samskrita Bharati).

20th July 2019 at Constitutional Club of India- Unbelievable, but yes true… Finally, we have a movie, in the world’s oldest language ‘Sanskrit’- Aham Brahmasmi. Written & directed by the much-celebrated filmmaker Aazaad & Produced by Kamini Dube along with the legendary film company The Bombay Talkies Studios founded by a pillar of Indian cinema Shri Rajnarayan Dube in 1934. The movie has all key ingredients of mainstream Hindi cinema viz. patriotism and drama in its core. The motto behind making the film is to make and prove that the Sanskrit language is relevant even for today. The movie blends tradition and modernity. Sanskrit in literature begins and ends with a certain shloka…Keeping this is mind, the makers have ensured that the film starts and ends with Shloka. When asked about creating history in world cinema, Aazaad said “Sanskrit is the language of Gods. I wanted to create a history and by God’s grace, I have done that by directing the world’s first Sanskrit movie. We all should love, respect and give priority to our own culture. Why are we forgetting our own traditions and culture where-as people from different countries are trying to follow our Indian Culture”.

Filmmaker Aazaad said the vision behind showcasing the film Rashtraputra at Cannes was to spread the thoughts and ideologies of the greatest Indian revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad. He also quoted that each and every human being, young or old, male or female, citizens of any country, any region and religion must have the thought and respect for their respective country. The film Rashtraputra has been produced by legendary film company The Bombay Talkies Studios and Kamini Dube.

Filmmaker Aazaad also said that, this is the high time to re-invent and restore the sanatan culture and values through Dev Bhasha Sanskrit to preserve our divine identity and existence. Aazaad roars in his baritone that India is not merely a piece of land but a divine entity, one should live and die for the motherland. We are the fortunate descendants of the great sages who had created Vedas, Upanishads and the ultimate wisdom when the whole world was living in primitive stages. For us the whole world is our family. Our thoughts, actions and voices represent and strengthen the world brotherhood, piece and wisdom. It is a matter of great hope that in this commercial world of movies, Aazaad has come forward with such an extraordinary subject of all time i.e Aham Brahmasmi.

The  film is produced by Kamini Dube who is among the most eminent female personalities, who encourages the real spirit in film making to unite the World Cinema by joining hands with legendary film company, The Bombay Talkies Studios. The film is presented by pillar of Indian Cinema ‘Rajnarayan Dube’, one of oldest finance company of India, ‘Dube Industries’ established in 1929, International Trust ‘Bombay Talkies Foundation’, ‘World Literature Organization, Aazaad Federation’ and above all one of the oldest organization ‘Vishwa Sahitya Parishad’ which was established in 1922 by Nationalist Kumari Chhavi Devi. It’s an honour and privilege to share the significant news of the Indian cinema.

FICCI Ladies Organisation to take a high powered business women delegation to Japan

FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) will soon be taking a high powered business women delegation to Japan.  This was announced recently at an exclusive and informative session hosted by the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi for FLO & YFLO members. The session on Trade & Investment Opportunities for women in Japan was held to explore more business and partnership opportunities in India and Japan.

On the occasion, FLO President, Harjinder Kaur Talwar, said, “It is undeniable that If we hope to create a world where all women can shine — where more women are driving innovation, holding seats in government or running companies — we must all invest in women empowerment. When I took over as President of FLO, I looked at Japan as one of our allies in this initiative and I reached out to the Embassy. The primary objective was to explore the synergies that exist between Japan & India for enhancing & deepening business engagements, largely for women.”

She further added, “I am very thankful to His Excellency Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India, for his enthusiasm and encouragement towards this association, and today’s business session was a step ahead in this direction. Women, as key agents to achieve the economic, environmental and social changes required for gender equality, will be fundamental to this partnership between both nations.”

Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu said, “Empowering women has always been a subject close to my heart. Before assuming the post of Ambassador of Japan to India, I was driven to launch the World Assembly for Women (WAW!) which has established itself as a premier international forum on women’s empowerment. After my arrival in India as the Ambassador, I have always considered how Japan can contribute to promoting women’s empowerment in India.”

The session, conducted by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII), provided an ideal platform to answer business-related queries pertaining to exploring business opportunities in Japan.

Falguni Shane Peaock presents- Bonjour Amer At FDCI India Couture Week 2019

Say Jaipur and ‘Pink city’ is what flashes in our minds. But for Falguni Peacock, it is a sack bag of memories from her latest sojourn. As the designer walked through the City Palace of Jaipur, she was asserted by the intricacies that would usually be blind-eyed to. It’s ornate architecture, comprising of resplendent domes, imperial carvings, nondescript doors, intricate frescos, imposing gateways and paintings that depicted the sublime beauty of the palatial city in its magnanimous glory.

 Celebration of Extravaganza

The benevolent energy of the place fills you with a solitary calmness, reflecting the bygone, imperial era that is still omnipresent and reverberates through Jaipur’s Kaleidoscopic culture. The silhouettes weave a web of modern eccentricity and yesteryear elegance, evoking a rich repertoire between the two. Stellar lehengas juxtaposed into red-carpet-worthy gowns, asymmetrical layers cascading into long, sweeping trails, giving the garment graceful fluidity

The ensembles are an explosion of dimension and grandeur; it plays with the idea of elaboration while retaining its unconventional aesthetic.
