Paul Mitchell – Holi Care tips for Holi 2020

 Tips for Holi 2020

Holi is a festival of joy that everyone celebrates without any racism, with lots of color and warm wishes for near and loved ones. Due to the joy and madness of the celebration, Holi has become so popular that not only Indians but even people from different countries and religions enjoy playing it. In ancient times, people used natural colors and ingredients to play Holi but nowadays it comes in different formats and from different brands, which might harm your skin and hairs leaving a bad experience. Your Hair is most vulnerable to colors, chemicals and water damage on Holi. While nothing should deter you from playing the festival of colors, a little hair care can keep your strands from spoiling. Here’s what you can do for your pre and post Holi hair care:

  1.  Avoid Shampoo

You must avoid doing shampoo a day before going to play the Holi. By doing this your scalp would not lose the essential oils present on the hair and on the scalp. This will be a natural way to avoid hair fall.

  1. Deep Conditioning

Dry hair is more prone to damage due to colour. Deep conditioning your hair a night before Holi can soothe dry hair strands and prevent the colour from penetrating in your hair shaft. Try out Paul Mitchell’s – Awapuhi Wild Ginger Keratin Cream Rinse, detangle and revivie

Also, if you have split ends, go for a trim to lessen the damage.

  1. Tie your hair Up

You can always put up a bun by bringing all the hair tied up. Else you can always go for the tight braid as keeping the hair loose might weaken your hair.

Use the newly launched Freeze and Shine Super Spray by Paul Mitchell to give your hairstyle a smooth finish and intact for hours, while you enjoy your festivities without any fear.

  1. Follow-Up with Hair Mask

Post Holi, ditch your regular shampoo and use an intense smooth shampoo (Paul Mitchell’s Instant Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner) to rinse off the colour, nourish your hair with a hair mask and follow up with a gentle massage to improve blood circulation!
