Tokyo Olympics 2021: #GoforGold #GoforGlory trends on Koo as PV Sindhu enters semi-finals

With just a few hours left for India’s ace shuttler and one of the brightest medal prospects in badminton, P.V. Sindhu, to make her semi-final appearance at Tokyo Olympics. Netizens have started pouring in their love and support for the shuttler on micro-blogging platform Koo. Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa, shooting ace Abhinav Bindra, wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt. And former Indian football team captain Bhaichung Bhutia. And several other celebrities have shared their wishes with the shuttler on Koo.

After a stunning victory over Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi in straight games of 21-13, 22-20 in the quarterfinals of the women’s singles event yesterday. Sindhu has increased the Gold medal hopes for all Indians. And people across the country are now hoping that she repeats her RIO 2016 glory at Tokyo Olympics.

Sharing his good luck wishes, Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra wrote, “You have emerged as a true inspiration for several young Indians who dream of representing the country on a national scale. With Kamalpreet Kaur qualifying for the finals of the women’s Discus Throw today. Indian’s women sports players have increased the hopes for more medals for the county.

As Mirabai Chanu wins a silver for the country, Lovlina Borgohain confirming a medal, Kamalpreet Kaur qualifying for the finals of the women’s Discus throw, C A Bhavani Devi creating history. And winning India’s first ever fencing match and Indian women hockey team being all set on the road to semi finals. The women sports players of the country have definitely shown the power of Indian women at Tokyo 2020.
